Buckethead Pictures from the Seattle Show now up!
Hey everyone!
Buckethead played Seattle last month so my Wife and I went down early to hopefully get our pictures taking with him and maybe an autograph. Well… it paid off! Not only did I get a picture and an autograph my Wife and I were invited in to watch them rehearse. Sweet!
I got most of all the pictures up on my website under the music link (top menu) so drop by and have a look see.
Shred on!
If you get a chance to see him live it's worth it!

I remember looking at that. Some nice pictures. A little while back I had a Buckethead interest that lasted for a bit. Ill probably get his Population Override CD sometime in the future.

Buckethead really doesn't talk he just grunts and points mostly. But when Buckethead and his assistant went inside (after the pictures) the assistant dude came out and said the front door is open come on in and kick back. Totally cool of both of them to do that.

Buckethead has played Seattle 3 time before. Each time I just watched who was setting up his gear and asked that person if I can get Bucketheads autograph. But this time I new Buckethead was playing Portland Oregon the night before, so I figured the drive to Seattle would take them 8 hours or more. So I guessed that he would pull in around 4pm Saturday. I was 30min off. He showed up around 4:30 so I waited outside the back entrance for him. When he got there he got out of the car dressed like he is in the first picture. So being as polite as possible I asked when he has time could my wife and I get a picture with him. He grunted and shock his head yes.
It’s just to cool that he took the time to pose for a picture.

You know, I had never really wondered if he talked or not. Just grunting, huh? Kind of weird, heh.
I wonder how often he takes the bucket and kibuki mask off.

He was wearing it when he pulled up in the Mini Van and again when he left the club for lunch before the show. That’s got to get hot after a while having a mask on all the time. The day he played it was around 90 degrees outside and if you look at the pic on my site he is wearing lots of sports cloth.

I have the following, if no one's seen him before...amazing, blistering performance! VHS NTSC
BUCKETHEAD (Live, NYC 4-30-97) Rare performance and technique and arpeggios so severe, surprising, zigzagging designs in the air, rollercoasting madness which can alternately terrify you and prompt hysterical laughter. Great show! I love his little KFC Bucket and Michael Myers Mask! and how he uses that "finger extension" that he uses, doing the Robot",and doing the Dancin' Machine, from the Jackon 5! "Dancin', Dancin' Dancin! "da-da-da-! Doin' the Dancin Machine! LOL No he doesn't perform Jackson 5, he just uses their dance moves, from 1972 is all... LOL
