Post 2nd lead guitarist anyone?
...Just wondering if Racer X ever considered working with a second guitarist and recreate some cool stuff like w/Bruce. Someone within the "family tree" like Russ Parish perhaps. 8)

How bout with Bumblefoot? I hear that guy can play anything you throw at him.

I like Bumblefoot - he's got a lot creative ideas for guitar.

I don't think anyone would be able to match the intensity PG has in his playing...Bruce was the only one. I'm 100% content with just PG in the band...

One thing I would like to see is...(Paul, Eric, Pat, and Billy....).... Damn.

I like Racer X as it is "now" (is there any Racer X "being" now????)...

Anyway, it would be awesome to see another guitar player in, like Ron Thal!

Hmm...interesting. But I'm gonna go with Josh on this one....I am perfectly happy with Racer X as it is. This IS Racer X...more albums have been put out by the current "line-up" than any other. But yeah....Paul alone is good enough for me, thank you.

They practiced 8 hours or more a day to pull that double stuff off....Nobody, is putting in those kinds of hours anymore. Period.

I vote Joey Tafolla!

And if you don't think Joey would drop what he's doing and do it, you're CRAZY!

What? I thought Paul learned to play the guitar in three days? Wouldn't it just take a couple of more days to get the double harmonies in sync?

Edit: Paul's shirt actually says, "...3 minutes." So it should be no more than 10 minutes to get the double harmonies down.

being a GOOD friend of joey's along w/ Jorge Galvan .I can attest to the fact that he thoroughly enjoys what's he's doing and prospering from his business and probably would not have time to do such a thing,But you are right he'd be a perfect fit-killer guitarist, and an all around GREAT guy-Pete

Rusty Cooley would be a great fit for the band...he is very busy though...he told me that if he is lucky he will get half an hour-an hour of practice a day.

how about Buckethead? or this Francesco Fareri, but this guy would run rings around Paul in the "speed department" and I' am not saying this is a good thing, this guy is ridiculosuly fast, PG is a fast player, but if you have heard this guy you will no what I' am flapping my gums about.

i gotta say: i DO miss the old day-glo racer-x days with bruce in the band.

sure, racer-x without bruce is great, but that 1988 "shark" show was what got me REALLY into racer-x in the first place. the dual shredding guitars and those early tunes from the first two albums have a special place in my heart. (yeah, yeah, i know that the first album didn't have bruce, but in the words of C3P0, "don't get technical with me!")

Good job Oliver! You have finally mastered the art of math.

Now...say you have one sheep...and Sean brings by two white women, Ryan has an asain girl, Ruth brings Scott Travis, Bree brings Maynard, and I bring this girl: Image

What does that make?

Yes...an orgy!
