You're absolutely right. If I'd play my own music I'd only need a tuner and the amp A/B channel switch. But I play in a cover band, and we play many different styles from pop to metal

The GFS Twin Clean drive is kicking my OCD in the balls and it feels heavenly.

I got a MXR Envelope Filter for my bass guitar and... great surprise: it is GREAT for electric guitar, as well!

I can get very cool tones out of it. I was pleased to hear that it doesn't ruin the tone of the instrument.

SO, if any of you guys are looking for an envelope filter, I strongly recommend this one. It doesn't have a lot of controls as some boutique ones I've seen around, but it definitely does a great job!

In the time since I went of hiatus here, I started a guitar pedal demo show on my YouTube channel called "Stompbox Saturday". (If you've seen it, amazing! And if you enjoy it, thank you for watching!)
Now, some three years later, companies are sending me pedals! The latest comes from my friend Ed Chew and his company Wrought Iron Effects & Leather. Here is an unboxing video of his new Orcrist Overdrive!

You can't get this thread restarted without posting a pedalboard pic, surely??

I'm still too stupid to use pedals. Polytune connected to the tuner-out, MIDI switcher for the channels, that's it.
