Post Seymour Duncan Mini
Would anybody know which SM were used in the RX guitars? Or at least which one would sound closest?

SM-1: Vintage-correct replica of classic Firebird pickup. Great for jazz, blues, rockabilly, classic rock and heavy rock.
SM-2: High output mini-humbucker. Great for heavy blues, classic rock, hard rock and metal.
SM-3: Hotter-than-vintage mini-humbucker. Great for blues, classic rock, southern rock, jam and hard rock.

I'd bet money that it's the SM-1 Vintage. More than likely they only made one model of it back then, not three like they do now. Not sure if he pulled it out of another guitar or bought it.

There's someone here who probably knows for sure. Or, you could contact Seymour Duncan to see which models of the mini they had at that time, around 1988 or so.
