I never liked Paul's tone. Is it just me? I mean, he's not the type of person I'd emulate for tone. His airplane flanger I'd understand if people would like. As for an overdrive pedal? Meh.

I think his tone on Get Out of My Yard is absolutely fucking insane -- sounds so raw and powerful, but not too gritty and trebly like his older Racer X days; his tone these days like on Fuzz Universe is something I love too, but then I love the sound of single coils. It's definitely not for everyone, though.

On a side note, I just realised that when I buy a Fireman, I'll have both a Fireman and an Ibanez Epiphone... the two most contrasting Paul guitars!

I like certain Paul tones, many of which are on MR. Big records but $329 for this pedal? Gotta pass.
