Re: New Mars Volta Drummer He's pretty awesome! I don't wanna draw comparisons but since we're talking about unnoticed energetic drummers, Morgan Rose of Sevendust has always been my favorite! So much energy and stage presence!

Re: New Mars Volta Drummer Is he still in the band? wikipedia says he was in the band 2009-2010, and the video is from that timeframe. He is really good.
TMV always have good drummers. The first time I heard Wax Simulacra off of Bedlam and Goliath the drums definately stood out. That was the drummer before the one in your youtube video. The best drumming I have seen in person this year was Marco Minnemann playing with Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree. Marco's drumming is insane. _________________

GREAT choice duder.....Morgan's fucking INSANE live and also does some KILLER vocals as he's playing (and is also a great songwriter, he writes alot of their tunes)......  |
