Post NGD: Ibanez FRM100TR
Hi, everyone. I finally got an FRM100TR, and wanted to share.
These are just body shots, I experimented with lighting from my camera and they all turned out quite nicely.
I bought it from Portland Percussion via 'bay.
I know those turds sent me a floor model because there's an eyesore of a chip at the bottom tip of the guitar, right by the strap pin (final killjoy picture).

Todėl, čią! Mano gitaras nuotraukos. Tikimės kad jūs patikti!

Should you want more pictures of particular areas of the guitar, feel free to ask, I'll gladly snap and post.

↑ Yeah, I was disappointed after having FELT it before seeing it.
BUT YOU KNOW, shit happens, and thankfully it doesn't affect sound/playability (sure, keep telling myself that :p).

For a quick review, the body is of perfect thickness and is very comfortable when both standing and sitting.
I love the bite of the pickups; they sound BEAUTIFUL both clean and distorted; absolutely no complaints.
The only thing is that because I am used to my PGM301, the neck was surprisingly thick, but slowly I'm getting used to it,
and it's really becoming a joy to play everytime I pick it up. I can't put it down; I even bring it to school with me.

Omg :( That sucks man. Sorry that happened. Where'd you order it anyway? Email the motherfuckers and tell them to suck it. Congrats, anyway! Beautiful guitar. The mass-prod Fireman seems to be a good idea!

EDIT: Change your title add NGD so that people won't think you're starting a new topic asking about the guitar.

Awesome pics!

I'm sorry about that scratch but.... Oh well... It's a nice guitar, after all!

Thanks to whomever added the "NGD".

Pao, I bought it from Portland Percussion on 'bay. They're based in Portland, Maine. $899 + 67 via USPS Priority, 6 days to arrive in Guam.

Yes, the chip is a bitch to look at, but it's just a great guitar besides that.

Just think of it as the first of many chips, scratches, and dings as you play the crap out of that thing for years.
Grats.

You really do need to follow up somehow on that damage.... I work in music retail, and that's an instant discount for the customer in my world. You paid $899, which is full MAP value, for a damaged guitar. At the very least try and get some money back, don't just settle for it. Great looking guitar otherwise, and you will get used to the neck. I go back and forth between my PGM100, 300, and the FRM with ease now.... 8)

First of many, yes! Many, not-so-profound ones :p

We'll point out their sh*t in feedback. It'd hassle for both me and the store since I'm all the way in GU.
Honestly though, as long as the damage isn't as ridiculous as to ruin the guitar's sound or playability.

RG570. FRM100, PGM301. Nice family.

I don't think you should send them back the guitar, I just think you should at least get some cash back. I mean that's a pretty bad chip. It's not like it was a small ding that could hardly be seen, this one is HUGE. Get a rebate or whatever if that's possible

Damn, those pictures are so nice it almost makes me care more about the camera than the guitar

The chip may be bad and disturbing, but just to a point. I agree, though. I'll try to get some rebate.

HAHA, thanks, Nowak. The camera is a Canon T2i.

Hey there!

I ordered Seymour Duncan YJM Potentio meters to replace the cheap chinese ones .
They ARE very stiff when turning , and feel kinda " Off" to what I'm used to.
But the Seymour Duncan YJM pots turn very, very easy! Just by looking at them!:-)
Good luck!

Beautiful family!

Dings happen...guitars are tools, and are meant to be PLAYED and ROCKED loud, not to be sited on a couch :P
