Post Recording guitar videos
I need suggestions for a camera with a decent quality to record guitar videos. Of course it would be good if it was cheap as well :P

It doesn't necessarily need to be a webcam - if it's not it's even better since it's one application less to use while recording.

The 2 main features I need are video resolutions of at least 480p (preferred 720p) and... Good refresh rate - I have a 720p webcam right now but it suffers from a serious case of "shadow hands" and I'd like to be able to record a video without my fingers teleporting all over the place :D

So, please help me? :)

I have awesome natural lighting in some of my videos and it's still blurry :P Webcams just don't provide the sharp and clear video I want.

pretty much any compact camera (photo camera) has decent 720p video
audio quality varies

you can always record your guitar amp with a real microphone into your DAW, and sync your video + audio mixdown together with a video editing SW

That´s the key. A compact camera with HD video. No matter how the sound sucks if you do what PGA1000 says. When you get used to mixing, editing... you´ll get cool results.

And light is important too, though you can always get a little bit more bright with the edition program. :)

Sound is not that much of an issue for me since I go with direct recording anyways. From my understanding cameras with bigger lense capture movement better so I guess compact cameras will have that advantage over webcams although it makes me wonder how the hell does iPhone 4 do such a good job of recording videos with that tiny camera.

I don´t know but I can imagine that´s one of the reasons you pay so much for an IPhone :)
