Wow, lucky you having lunch with PG! Awesome! I totally agree with what you say regards their on-stage presence - a truly inspiring experience.

It's just that, here in Brazil, when we say a girl is a "cow" it's uhu.... not good. But this ain't Brazil, right?

hahaha, really no worries and no need to apologise. I have been LMAO the last few posts. Its not good (but a bit old-fashioned) to call a girl a cow in English either...twas a sort of 'joke' to myself. Girls not allowed on the internet eh Dave? Awee, yer spoil-sport - and I only just learnt how to turn a computer on as well... Back to the topic then. I thought these vids of Billy and Pau's solos in Houston mark a fitting end to the US Tour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeVuP-MKfZkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzihvw88qfo

Well well well. I have seen PG and Mr Big numerous times but the chemistry, musicianship and skill blew me away last night. I thought PG was on fire, probably the best I've seen him at with incredible phrasing. Stood in front and the sound he had coming out of those Marshalls was amazing. Managed to get my 401 signed too!
This was one of the best gigs I have been to. Period.

I'd be interested to know whoever did or is going to do the VIP thing if you think it was/is worth the money considering folks are getting things signed by the stage door after the show(s)? This really is a question for anyone who has never met the band before (coz anyone else is bound to say it was worth it) The European package doesn't even include the concert ticket!!

 Re: .* * Mr. Big, World Tour 2011 Thread * *.
In case you haven't seen this yet, Brian May posted the following on his website today, about the London gig yesterday: Quote: "Mr Big? I went tonight to see them at Shepherds Bush Empire. Amazing band. Amazing, amazing musicianship. I had only seen them on YouTube previously, but I am fairly familiar with their old material. I was blown away. In the flesh, their fire and skill and precision are even more astounding. I was smiling the whole time. Truthfully this totally humbles me ... I could practice from now until 2020 and I would still not be able to play like Paul Gilbert. Magnificent. If you get the chance to see them on their current tour, don't pass it up. If you want to see a real rock band, and pinnacle rock musicianship - - it does not get better than this !! Bri" http://www.brianmay.com/whatsnew.htmlThats really quite something coming from another great guitarist. Anyone manage to catch him in the crowd?

I did scan the circle seats a few times for famous guitarists (mainly due to seeing Herman Li up in the circle at the last PG show in London and then meeting him outside afterwards) but didn't spot anyone I recognised... and I would DEFINITELY have recognised Brian May! He could well have been stage right as I couldn't quite see everyone up there due to my position in front of Billy.
