The new album of Whitesnake is coming the 25 march in Europe, always with Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach.

I think I've lost track of all the people who have been in Whitesnake...

Hell YEAH!!! Sykes put them back on the map in the 80's... Adrian and Vivian ate up all the MTV video airplay after John left the band but I believe without John Sykes WS would've never enjoyed the success they had in the 80's (and early 90's with Vai)... 8)

Lol.... No matter how much makeup they put on Dave (or Doug) and no matter how much fancy lighting they use, the Dave (and Doug) in the video just don't look like the Dave (and Doug) in the picture...

On a side note I think Reb sold his soul to the devil cuz that fucker still looks good after all these years...

Three words fellas: Oil of fucking Olay !!!

Sykes matters...

Sykes, after the death of Phil Lynnott. After Whitesnake, he made great things with Bad Moon Rising and his solo career with the amazing Nuclear Cowboy (a surprising album).

Has anyone here besides me heard any of the music of the Badlands John Sykes was in in the early 80's? (Not the same band Jake E. Lee was in.)

And now Brian Tichy is on drums...he´s killer!

Hope this album is as good as "good to be bad".

Very good album. Sounds great!

A lot more bluesy than Good to be bad, but it has some classic Whitesnake moments.

Coverdale´s voice is great as usual.

The guitar playing is phenomenal, and the drumming is also outstanding. Brian Tichy hits those skins hard!

Listen to it, you won´t be dissapointed!

Doug was the guest guitarist on the first episode of TMS this season and he sounded great.
Definitely gonna preview this new Whitesnake album.

I like Vandenberg.

He has this signature technique where he mixes in a bouncy, staccato, palm-muted ascending scale pattern into his leads.
Also has a great sense of melody and a very good wide vibrato.

I almost bought a Peavey Vandenberg back in 1991 but they had a Destiny Custom next to it on the wall and I loved it. Cost about $1000 twenty years ago. Stilll have it, still my favorite guitar.

Well hello MissMisstreater ~

So.....we both love Coverdale ~ I have stories ~

Seriously ~ he had one of the best voices ever and the vocal style & technical ability to accompany it ~ seductive texture, a slightly delayed timing and sexy, commanding phrasing ~ creating this "anticipation" ~ his swagger was natural ~ he was born to be Rock Star ~ that perfectly placed smile was just heaven ~ he knew just when to laugh and just when to "cry" ~

Peace,
V
