From the Mr. Big studio shots... What's the pedal between the TU2 and Phase 90?

Re: PAUL'S EQUIPMENT! (new members click here) UPDATED 17/05
The prototype was a half rack unit with a separate 2-button footswitch so I don't think it's that, although it is where Paul has been putting the AF2 in his chain... On closer inspection, it also only has 1 footswitch and 4 knobs.

Paul's pedalboard on the tour, anyone already know what this green pedal is? Sorry if it's already been worked out. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y276/T ... C06689.jpg

Must be the Three Hound Chorus or HBE Compressor pedal?

Re: PAUL'S EQUIPMENT! (new members click here) UPDATED 17/05
Sorry, now posting in 2 threads...
It's the new, smaller, HBE CPR, I think. I keep being tempted to get it as my larger CPR takes up quite a bit of board space compared to the new one...

The missing pedal is the Homebrew Mini Compressor Retro (HBE mini CPR)

His Dunlop 535q Wah must be hiding. I imagine he would have needed that a lot for this tour....

He's not playing the "wah" song. Come to think of it. He's really not playing a lot of Fuzz Universe songs on that "Fuzz Universe" tour.

Re: PAUL'S EQUIPMENT! (new members click here) UPDATED 17/05
Just an opinion on Paul's current tone:
Having seen him live in december, i can definitely say it is a LIVE tone all the way, sounds killer "in the flesh".
Other than that, i REALLY despise the exact same rig on recording, wether it be fuzz universe of what if.
As a rythm sound I find it passable, but the high notes during solos are really harsh! Maybe Paul's hearing loss stop him from hearing these high frequencies? i know that's not valid because there's always producers or other band members to point it out, but still.
Am i the only one who finds his solo sound harsh?

Am i the only one who finds his solo sound harsh? I can't notice it... but I've EQ'd my PC speakers output quite well to have more low end and mids and cut the high end a little bit...

Paul says high pitch notes are harder to notice for him. He even said he doesn't hear the hi hats that well anymore.
