In your opinion what is better, a TC Electronics G-shapr minor or an Alesis Midiverb?
I'll buy one of these two for delays.. and they have also some other effects, which is good :)

Also, I have heard that you with the G-sharp minor you can you reverb and only another fx at the same time. Can anybody confim this? Is it true also for the Midiverb?

I basically want a simple delay with some other fx (just for fun).

Just got a TC Elc. Nova Repeater, which is awesome in every way, not to mention cheap considering the flexibilities and tones! Yes, I'm an Analog-Delay guy when it comes to tones and oscillerating effects, but the TC has everything I need at the moment. :) One of my bands just got some funds from a cultural corp. nearby as well, so I'm getting the T-Rex Mudhoney tomorrow! :D Can't wait! It's like the perfect drive for me; both sound-wise and nationality-wise!

Two new pedals recently.. an old Tube Works Tube Driver (the three knob version like Andy Timmons uses) and a really accurate (minus the fuzzy old giant housing) clone of the Foxx Tone Machine, which has turned out to me by favorite octave fuzz I've ever played through.

Thinking about getting an AC Booster by Xotic. Anyone here have experience with it? (Scott Henderson and Allen Hinds make me want one!)

yeah, it's pretty cool.
good as a stand-alone box for a crunch tone. great in front of a dirty amp for some more gain and a boost.
plus the bass and treble knobs really help you tune your overdrive sound.

i recommend it.

Suhr Riot is here. Awesome pedal! Compliments my BB Preamp really well. Glad I didn't sell the BB though.
Waiting for my Time Factor now, should be here in a week. 8)

Awesome. I nearly bought one of those (the Suhr) the other day... I opted instead for a Teese Wizard wah wah since I get nervous taking my beloved old Maestro Boomerang wah out (on the rare occasions I have to).

Seen a video of it, it doesn't seem to affect tone or attack much at alll.

NEW TOYS!!!!

So I went to the LA Amp Show on Saturday and stopped by the Pigtronix booth with the intention of buying something. I walked out with this:
Image

This is probably one of the coolest delay pedals you will ever come across. The multi-tap switches allow you to create really cool rhythmic delays that other pedals can't do. The Golden Ratio is one of the best features on this pedal. Really makes it sweet sounding. And the Modulation Delay section is one of the best I've heard. Great rotary speaker sounds. Definitely happy with the purchase.

Plus...check out the awesome serial number I got:
Image

I'll be making a demo of it sometime soon. It's such an involved pedal that I need a bit more time to figure a few things out.

And here's my most recent pedalboard:

(Note: since this picture was taken, I've added an Ibanez FL9 flanger after the OCD)

Just built myself a BYOC Optical Compressor!

It was easy as hell and so much fun!

Here is the Big Daddy Compressor:
Image

Yes, and by Big Daddy I mean the characters from Bioshock.
This is easily one of the best sounding compressors I've ever played. It's a simple two knob compressor in the style of the old MXR and ROSS designs. There are several mods you can perform to it such as the Fast/Med/Slow attack toggle switch but I chose to go basic for my first build.

This was my birthday present and talk about a fucking sweet birthday present. I'm addicted. I'll be buying a couple more next week.

I have this terrible doubt:

should I keep saving money to by a tube amp whenever I go back to the US or should I just spend about 500 bucks and buy the Frostbite Flanger and a DC Brick as a power supply?

Oh no. I'm a cheap motherfucker!

I've been waiting for the Frostbite for so long that I won't freak out if it takes another 6 months for me to get one!

The waiting makes it even better 8)
