You retro-fanatics will love this. I came across an old gem today while hunting for 2010 Euro-review material which is still sadly lacking...

http://klassickerranginterviews.blogspot.com/

It is apparently from Kerrang... Check out the "New Guitar Masters" 9-page special, for the Racer X goodliness.

Thats really cool...

a little depressing when Paul says he thinks Racer X is gonna do well and all that. I've always felt like, in the early Mr Big years, Paul really had that thing for Racer X. Just watch Terrifying Guitar Trip, on that part where he talks about Racer X... I hear a little bit of sadness over there.

... I guess people change, after all.

Nice to hear that he moved from that tiny apartment crowded with amps and is doing much better now! He wouldn't be like that with Racer X, right?

See the New Guitar Masters - October 1986 that has the pic with Paul and Bruce,
Is New Guitar Masters the name of the mag or is it Kerrang?
I tried to look for it but it wont come up in Google or eBay... :?
Any one know how I can find this issue, front cover? :|

Yeah I think you're right, and now the month...
It mentions October on the last page so it must be pre-October 1986.
But if anyone know the month for sure, please let me know.
Thanks!

I didn't see any means of contacting him directly on the blog or on his profile, so you can't really figure it out that way. You could leave a comment on the post and see if he responds.
