Awesome news! I wonder what the price will be. Hopefully it will be more in the price range of the PGM or Satch models and not the price range of a JEM.

I was coming to the forum just to share the video too! :D

And loaded with Injector pickups as expected...can't wait for NAMM to get the official details. According to comments from Rich from Ibanezrules in other forum, It will probably be an Indonesian made guitar...time will tell. I will probably go for It anyway!

Well it's only been up for a few hours. These boards are more international than others so there is no peak time for activity.

I wonder what wood it's made out of...

True...still huge news! Going to get one Nitefly? I'm guessing you don't have a single coil guitar? i miss the single coils in my custom fireman so much. I preferred them for pretty much everything (in comparison to humbuckers)

I would love to, but there isn't a chance in hell I could afford one at the moment and I don't start my upcoming full time job until 2012...!

I'm currently lusting having more than one effects pedal, as currently I have my Boss ME-50 running through the effects loop for reverb and delay, but that makes all the other effects sound rubbish.

Give me five years, and I will be buying all the gear, including (on my wish list):

A frostbite flanger
A delay pedal
A reverb pedal
A phaser
A wah

Meep :(

Knowing Ibanez, I would say that there is a good chance it will be made of basswood.

So we need to start a guessing game regarding how much it is going to cost! Whoever wins get a cookie! :chew:

My guess = £899 / $1415.

But you run in all through a HT-5 right? IMO a hugley overrated amp. Don't get my wrong, it's great for the price! Fantastic in fact but I would much rather buy something else (e.g saw a Laney VC50 on jemsite for £200 yesterday and no it's not true that just because it's high wattage it's going to sound crap at low volumes, it would also take to pedals much better!)

P.s The laneys have some of the best in built reverb I've ever heard! Wahs are for noobs and yes I need a delay too :(

Mmm, good one. I do not think in Pounds, but if I would have to guess in real currencies I would say 1499 Euro, 1899 Dollar.

I think the HT-5 sounds fantastic, although it doesn't have arguably a silly amount of gain I can't really fault it. There's a reason why it had pretty much universal acclaim. It's the Yamaha Pacifica 2!

As for the wah, Hendrix, Slash, Vai, Satriani and Gilbert are all noobs? ;)

I fancy one of those Morley ones myself, hate stomping on my ME-50 to activate the wah.

I'm going for £1000-1500 at retail.

I've got a bit of a feeling that it still might be pricy, you know, just because it's "Fireman" and in a way it's a completely new design for a mass produced guitar. It still pretty cool that they have finally decided to do that!

I'd still get a PGM90th over any Fireman any day :P And THEN a FRM :P
