 Paul's Stoned
Well, not really... I came across this on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRmgG2ANv-E&feature=relatedDoes it seem a bit surreal to anyone else? Paul seems to be fried... I imagine it's from a hectic schedule or something, but just seems different to any other interview I've seen.

 Re: Paul's Stoned
Seemed kind of strange in the interview but I wasn't til he was playing that I was convinced. He might've been taking some pain pills/tylenol or something? It couldn't have been the whacky tobacky!

 Re: Paul's Stoned
OK... this made me crack up laughing so I have to post. Tylenol! LOL. Surely you mean the prescription stuff with codeine in it, because regular Tylenol does nothing helpful. Including relieving pain. Although it will chew up your liver horribly.
Ah, it's our latest forum installment of Sir Robin's Something's Amiss With Paul Video Series. (That is NOT a slam or insult and I deleted the original post to add this in. Where were you in 2007? I thought Paul was not subject to any ills at all! That '08 tour surprised the heck out of me.) The audio on that clip is terrible, the sound system is less then awesome, and the perspective of the cameraperson is odd. There's probably nothing actually wrong. He does plenty of singing & playing in interviews - earlier and later. The ones from Italy in 2009 (GuitarList) and the one from Peru (2001) come to mind immediately.
Unfortunately I have nothing productive to add to the debate, other then something along the lines of... 'someone should email Paul the link to this thread and ask for his input.'
On the topic of marijuana, having nothing to do with Paul at all, is "personal use" with the "patient license" legal in all of CA (or just San Fran) and are the "collectives" legal in all of California, or just San Fran? They apparently had some vote early this year and it ended in favor of the pot users. Other details were nil. (my neighbors are advocates. It's one of those passing conversational topics. Like 'how's the weather?' but more socially pervasive.)

 Re: Paul's Stoned
Yeah, Paul's on heroin. Well, he looks pretty beat. I didn't watch the whole thing in detail, but I think if this Paul at his worst, then he's got it waaaaaay better than everyone else.

Anyways, I think that's the last time Paul came to Brazil (I might be wrong). I was 12 years old, and all I'd do was playing Pokémon... meh I still do that!

 Re: Paul's Stoned
Oh shi*! I just noticed that it's the Dave Guiney series of amiss videos... not Sir Robin at all. I'm sorry! That's what I get for posting in threads (ater taking Benadryl LOL!) without having updates. I'm a doof. *leaves board*
Research has shown... nothing. Topics like this are started for what reason? I mean what productive value does this give to us? Does it bring us in to greater appreciation of an artist, or expose us to more new music of theirs? Does it edify anyone?

Fuzz Universe.. where you can never get too little sleep. +1 poor Paul, he just looks completely nackered..... And even if he was stoned, he would still smoke almost any other human on guitar.... not that I'm implying he was, he's prob just on painkillers!

 Re: Paul's Stoned
Topics like this are started for what reason? For shits and giggles.
I mean what productive value does this give to us? Absolutely none whatsoever.
Does it bring us in to greater appreciation of an artist, or expose us to more new music of theirs? Does every thread have to be about this? I think not.
Does it edify anyone? Who gives a shit?
