Post Re: Custom Fireman Thread- Courtesy of Jaden Rose
So i've listed it on ebay for 10 days awaiting offers, I don't want anyone to buy it now which is why I've set it so high.

I've had 2 very reasonable offers from members of the board and if I don't get a better offer via ebay I'll have to sell it too one of them.

I tried to get around the situation and the only viable one was using a bicycle, but with the english winter coming round and knowing that i've got to get a car at some point I simply need the cash...

Here is the listing, looking at the pictures just frustrates me, such a good job by jaden

Took these pics for the listing, thought I'd share them as they are pretty damn nice.

Shame you have to sell, but you've had it made once, you can always do it again.

Sharpant, you make english winter sound like a scary thing when it's not that big of a deal. I have no central heating in my apartment, holes in my front door and the temps fall below -15°C in winter. Now that's scary and requires extra cash to survive.

I'm sure you could manage without selling your fireman. If you don't play in a band you can sell your amp +effects and get a small practice amp instead. Or a TonePort which is cheap, can sound really nice and is more than enough for playing and recording at home. You can buy more expensive gear again after you deal with your financial problems and get some extra cash.

On a side note; I'd rather walk 10km to and from work every day in a blizzard than to sell my custom guitar.

Once again I find myself agreeing 100% with Lamer.

I'm guessing you're not a fan of the custom fireman otherwise you would have sold one of your easily replacable PGMs?

hmmm, this is true.
I have turned down at least 4 requests in the very recent past to make the fireman again.

you'll be sorry to see that go...

Good luck selling it. Although I'm sure you don't need it.
I don't understand why you are selling, but I respect-chya. Let us know what it goes for

i'm with them.
if you dont have a need for the big amp...get a small one that will get you a decent clean and distortion.

Sell your Orange head and cab. The head alone is worth around $2000 new. If it's in mint condition and you sell it along with the cab you'll get waay more money than you'd get for your fireman. And by selling a halfstack you don't really need you get to keep a unique, hand crafted, one of a kind instrument in your possession.

EDIT: I just noticed in your sig that you don't have the Orange head anymore. Sell your Laney and the 500 instead and you're set.

On a side note: If after all the advice we gave you you still decide to sell the guitar rather than sacrifice your other (mass produced) gear then it'll be clear, that you're trying to make us feel sorry for you and manipulate us into buying a guitar you can keep, but don't want which isn't a cool move at all.
