Post Paul's red Fireman?
Any news on this potentially becoming a production model?

If so I'm guessing it would be made out of basswood or something similar and not korina? Has anyone seen the back of the neck on this guitar? Is it natural or also painted red?

Referring to this one of course

You can see the side of the neck on that picture and it clearly is red so I think it's safe to assume the whole thing is painted red ;)

From the pics in the Fuzz universe booklet. It looks like the neck is a bolt on, and is painted red.

I'd jump in front of a train for a production model.

If you do, I will buy one and name it after you in your memory.

I think the fireman is pure class, I love the 80's style, insane colors and just badass stuff, But if you're a boss like myself, you need class.

I don't see how they can NOT make the fireman into a production guitar now. They have been teasing us with it for so long now, everyone is gonna buy one if its even halfway affordable

...I'm with Eric on this one. The Fireman is one hell of a piece of guitar-ass.

Paul doesn't just get willy-nilly custom guitars anymore. He's tinkering around again... Besides the new neck joint and new color on this one, it has new pickups. They are "hum-cancelling single coils". Paul says they are called the HS-5. That's just the prototype name. Apparently, Paul had a photo-shoot on Aug. 26, so there's something good brewing regarding these!

These pickups sound KILLER! So much bite. They have a very "classic 80's thrash" vibe about them at times, and other times, they still stay so clean.

BTW I love the red Fireman color as well - I like how it's not an opaque painted-on red, but a transparent warm crimson. It's very pretty.

"classic 80's thrash"?

Did Paul ever use a pickup that sounded like that?

If you're referring to my post, I was talking about how I liked the Epi's they used because they looked like the definition of the 80's and how the fireman is a one of a kind master piece. O.o if you were referring to me that is.
