That was quite excellent, thank you for sharing. I personally loved questioning how long Ozzy's career lasted.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing this. 8)

If I had my hand in it I would have done several things differently...

1. For Bruce Dickinson I would have used Run To The Hills or Flight of Icarus instead of Number of The Beast. IMO I feel those two songs show off his operatic skills way more than Number of the Beast.

2. I wouldn’t have used Dreamer Deceiver as an example for Rob Halford. I would have used Freewheel Burning, Bloodstone, Devil’s Child, Screaming For Vengeance, or pretty much anything off the Screaming for Vengeance cd.

3. I wouldn’t have included King Diamond in this at all, I would have gone with Queensryche instead. I’d really love to have heard their opinions on Geoff Tate.

I'm quite happy she thought to make Bruce Dickinson and Dio her #1 and #2 choices.

I've always felt that way.

Yeah, I was like WTF? There's so many cool singers, like Michael Kiske, Ian Gillan, Matt Barlow... and even guys like James Hetfield and Dave Mustaine, who are NOT singers, but sing... I wonder if she'd put them on the same category as Ozzy!

I just now see the irony in this. :D And, for the record, I'm sure the feeling is not mutual for Halford.

Out of the five on that list, I personally side with Halford. And I think the writer would, too, if a different Judas Priest piece was presented. She recognized that Halford was an immensely talented singer with a lot of natural abilities, but felt he was lacking in vocal technique. Out of all of them, I would say Halford had the most diverse tool-set.
