Post fireman gas has returned please help
I have a line to grab a fireman on the "cheap". It was displayed at the MIAC show in the distributors booth. word is it's got a small chip on it. Still waiting on pricing but its still probably going to be way more than I can afford (I work at a dealer so I can get it at cost). but still. the gas remains. I'm terrified as to what I might do.

please talk me out of this.

This is me seriously: I would never pay that much for 1 single guitar. Only if I was a billionaire. If you simply review the costs of making a guitar, then how silly is it to make it that expensive. I understand the exclusivity. But it's not like we can't, or know people who can't make it for twice/triple as less. Let's call it out of proportion.

Don't get me wrong. Fine guitars may cost money, and who am I kidding I've had and have some expensive guitars. But crossing the line of let's say 3, 3.5 Euro is not normal.

And this is me in my guitar buying modus:
I WOULD DEFENITELY BUY IT IF I WERE YOU!!!

Surely there's a chance of a full production model Fireman?
With Paul's new album and the new Mr. Big album, Ibanez are surely going to see that the Firemanis getting a LOT of exposure and there will be a demand for more of them.
The downside is that Ibanez may do similar limited runs of the different colours...
Fingers crossed for PGM 300/301 style quantities, though!!

I can hope can't I? :P

If the guitar is less than $3000, buy it. If it's more, don't. That's my stance. (I know it's the wrong currency)

+1. It was badly set up/the neck was responding badly to the climate here. Also probably the wrong model for what I want to play. Especially the pickups. Might've been great for country, waaay too trebly for the high-gain sounds I was using.

I got one due in september. :)

Ok. So the scoop on the guitar is. it was shown at the MIAC Show, a few small dents. It's the only one brought into Canada by efkay. I can't really give you the price since its cost. but pgm992 was damn close.

I'm going to sit on it for a bit and see what happens.

I would buy it if it was close to 3000. As long as you were making sensible choices with all of your finances and it wasn't putting you behind or too tight on money, then why not? It is a very nice guitar!
