Post Selling many guitars, also PGM's
Guys and dolls, it's my turn to sell some stuff. For a while I was a real collector of the PGM's, but noticed I want a bigger variety of guitars. I LOVE them, but can't keep all. I made sort of a list with a note. When there is no interest from here I might put some on Ebay. If you are interested, please email PM me with the guitar you are interested in and your private email as that works much easier than PM's. Thanks

Note upfront: I made pictures of all guitars. I’m not a photographer, but I think they give a good impression of the guitar. Damages are photographed, please know on a close-up they might look terrible, but most are very small. Actually most guitars are in excellent condition. All kept in a smoke free environment and did not had sun-light. Reason I’m selling is that want to try some other guitars. I have 2 hands, and currently more than 20 necks hanging which is silly. I’m not interested in trades though. Only in very rare cases, so you might try, but my interest is low. Cases included with the PGM90ham (signature case), with the PGM700 an original gig bag and a special case with the VBT700 in the exact shape of the V. I have a few cases though, so we can talk about this. I have experience with shipping and will pack well and secure. I accept cash, transfer and PayPal. I have a couple of references I’ve done deals with. I’m not Santa, worked hard for these guitars and will not go for packages of raisins. Furthermore I’m a nice guy and hope to do business with pleasure. Now the good stuff!:

For sale:
- YJM strat 91’
- Ibanez les Paul 72’
- Ibanez PGM100, 90Ham, 300, 400, 500, 700, 900

- Ibanez ES-345 72’
- Ibanez AE410BK 84’
- Squier Katana 85’

Fender Yngwie J. Malmsteen Stratocaster:
Pictures: http://yfrog.com/2t88078342jx
Supercool Japanese YJM strat from 1991 with YJM USA pick-ups. Cellulose lacquer; look at the picture as the body has a few cracks in the lacquer. This is very difficult to photograph but also because it is just the lacquer and difficult to see from most angles. The neck is perfect and has the typical Malmsteen scallops. General condition is very good.

Ibanez PGM90ham:
Pictures http://yfrog.com/mk82944709jx
All original 1998 PGM90ham, 90th Hoshino anniversary model produced to celebrate the ninetieth year anniversary of Hoshino Gakki (parent co. of Ibanez). Only 337 made of these babies! See the pictures, general condition is very good! You won’t find it much better soon. Included original items:

Cool and rare PGM400. I’m keeping the 500 or 400 but one can go. See the pictures for the condition. It has some nicks but overall is in a good condition.

One of the most popular PGM’s around in a super condition. The bridge pickup is replaced as it was broke. I’m keeping the 500 or 400, but 1 can go.

Neck-Maple, One Piece W/Volute, Reverse Headstock, 24 Fret, Rosewood Fingerboard, Dot Inlay.

Ibanez PGM700 (Japan only)
Pictures: http://yfrog.com/1861901996jx
One of the greatest sounding guitars I ever had. I’m not letting this go easily as it really has a great tone and plays very easy, but will accept a good offer. This is number 25 out of the 50 made. The condition is very good and you will not find one in a better condition easily. This is the most expensive PGM (before the fireman came out.. ) Rich from Ibanez is currently selling 2 and his prices are 4300 and 3700 dollar. I have the original Ibanez gig bag with it and the guitar is signed. http://www.ibanezrules.com/used.htm#PGM I work with Euro’s of course, but mine will not be that expensive. Compare mine also with this one: http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... K:MEWAX:IT
Neck-Set Neck, Maple, 22 Fret, Rosewood Fingerboard, Dot Inlay
Body-Violin Shape, Mahogany.
Pickups-Dimarzio Super Distortion (2)
Bridge-Gibralter II, Quick Change II
Hardware-Black
Color-White

Ibanez PGM900
Pictures: http://yfrog.com/0fafbeelding250ejx
I consider this the PGM with the best price/quality mix. It is in a very good condition, only 1 spot which I accidently made myself. You don’t see it very good though. Furthermore in an amazing condition.
Neck-Maple, 22 Fret, Rosewood Fingerboard, Dot Inlay
Body-Talman Shape, Mahogany
Pickups-Super 58’ (2)
Bridge-Gotoh GTC101
Hardware-Gold
Color-Transparent Red

Ibanez VBT700 BK
Pictures: http://yfrog.com/mjcimg6080jx
Very cool flying V kind of type guitar with neck- and string-thru construction. The “wing’s” of the V feature the additional dual cutaways which do not have any damage. (a lot of these shapes suffer easily from that). It plays very fast and has a great tone. Comes with a very nice case especially made for this guitar. Condition is as new.
Body-Mahogany in V-shape
Neck-maple/walnut 5-ply neck
Bridge-Gibraltar custom
Fretboard-rosewood
Pick-ups-Dimarzio DiActivator Humbucker, neck and bridge
Color-black
Binding-white
Frets-24 jumbo

Squier Katana:
Pictures: http://yfrog.com/5j27749418jx
A Squier Katana from 1985. In a very decent condition seeing his age. All is working well. No case included.
Maple glued-in neck with rosewood neck, dot inlay, 22 frets. No switch as it has 1 humbucker and a vibrato bridge unit.

Ibanez les Paul:
Pictures: http://yfrog.com/ht80087238jx
Very cool and all original Ibanez from 1972. Ibanez made guitars without a logo on the headstock. Big stores could put their own logo’s on it that time, so this is one of those. Original MAXON pick-ups with a cool vintage look and the Ibanez start tuners. Nice honeyburst top and a maple neck with blocked inlay. Plays very light.

Ibanez AE410BK:
Pictures: http://yfrog.com/2t66950697jx
Nice semi-acoustic Ibanez from 1984. Works awesome with the tone control (not as a normal tone control, but more like a presence/equalizer type of knob). Spruce top, mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fretboard. Rosewoord bridge with a Tru-tone saddle and Ivory endpins which are all ok. It has a piëzo-ceramic pick-up which is under the saddle and it has no battery.

Ibanez ES-345:
Pictures: http://yfrog.com/0l55064768jx
Beautiful Ibanez ES-345 pre-serial from 1972. It has golden hardware and non-original Gibson Grover Tuners. It has super 70’s pick-ups, 2 volume and 2 tone knobs and a varitone switch which is not working. I don’t know how this works but am sure it can be fixed. :o

The photographs are awesome!
As are the guitars!

Could I be nosey and ask what guitars you decided to keep?
That is a pretty wide range of guitars you are selling!

Hi Dave,

F.e. PGM10th, Heritage Les Paul, Rocket Roll, ehh... and a few others... it is silly I have to think which other guitars I have

+ I'm not selling all.. but these I sort of can let go. But some will not go very easily as it is and will stay my biggest passion. I rather buy a bigger house! Since I noticed not all guitars are going that easily I just put more guitars and will see which will go.

Damn, great guitars for sale here, I hope you sell that stuff because of your choice and not for some money reasons, it would be sad to see those guitars go away if it's the case

Thanks for the concern ;) I'm safe luckily. Seeing the market I probably will only sell 1 or 2 easily and I'm not the person which will keep them on the market long. If they go they go, otherwise I keep on enjoying them for a bit longer.

Must be PGM dumping month. Waiting for PG himself to log in, say he's going exclusively with the Fireman and put all his PGM's up for sale.

You know, this is the biggest vacancy of PGM's since Ivy dumped them all.

This isn't because you never scored that 200, is it Albert?

Out of the bunch, that's the one I would rather keep. It is a fantastic guitar, very under estimated by the people who don't like it because of the looks. But it's not just a great original guitar, but has a massive tone.
