....They can believe what they want, but I hope for the love of Dio's memory that someone just keeps them out of the place.

It really isn't quite often that I wish things like this on people but I really can't think otherwise.
I hope hope hope that they can keep them the hell away.. since it's in Los Angeles I really do believe that enough Dio fans will come to 'peacefully' protest their picketing.
I don't believe in hell.. but "If there is a hell, it's fires wait for them, not us."

I think there's a rule or something were you have to be mentally retarded to join Westboro Baptist Church.

 Re: RIP Ronnie James Dio
I'm very sad whenever I hear Rock N Roll children. It's a sad song, and with Dio dead, it just depresses me to hear it.

 Re: RIP Ronnie James Dio
This past Thursday I went and sat in the audience for a taping of VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show" (which will be airing in a couple of weeks), it was a Dio tribute show with tons of guests like Geezer Butler, Vinnie Appice, Wendy Dio, Simon Wright, Rob Halford, Tom Morello, Claude Schnell, Scott Warren, and Craig Goldy. Needless to say it was a somewhat solemn episode filled with tons a Dio related stories. A few tears were actually shed as well. Craig Goldy lost it a couple of times but was so appreciative of everyone there. During a break he actually went into the audience, introduced himself to every single audience member and thanked each and every one of us for attending. That guy is a real class act and a monster of a guitar player!

 Re: RIP Ronnie James Dio
Wow, a year already. RIP Dio, I was listening to a live version of Sacred Heart sometime last week, the dude had such a voice.
Hail Dio.

 Re: RIP Ronnie James Dio
A sad anniversary for sure.
But his music and legacy will keep Dio alive forever!
