Post How to wire my Strat like Yngwie's???
I was wondering if one of you guys could help me wire my Strat like Yngwie's? :?

I got 2 HS-3s for Bridge & Neck, they are wired in Series but I don't know how to wire them to the switch, I am starting from scratch...

Help!

I've got one wired like that.
I can take pics when I get home if you'd like.

I googled and found this:

Well how do you explain the 'Play Loud' thing? :?

Well I spent some time today restoring my 72 OW Strat and I'll play some Neo-Classic Shred and see how good these HS-3s are...

Now that the wiring question is out of the way!...

Well I have a 1972 OW Vintage Fender Stratocaster and as you can imagine year 1972...not yet a shred machine...untill Yngwie got a hold of one! 8)

The problem I am having:

1. keeping the string form rolling off the FB
2. the string spacing at the bridge is TOO wide for me

I have a 2008 Mex Strat and I love the feel... :)

Some of you may know 70's Vintage Strat trems had much wider screw spacing than the Standard...

I was thinking to put a Standard Trem on my 72 Strat, that will solve a LOT of playing problems, but it will not fit the 72 because the screw holes are much closer together...I know I could just re-install the Standard on the 72 Strat but I will end up fucking up the screw holes and they could become loose...

So I was wondering if there is a Strat tremolo that can fit a 70's Strat but have closer string spacing? :?

Hey, how about you trade that 72 for my PGM800 instead of modding it  :P

try sustaining a note on the G string AND also do a big bend on the B string and you should notice the G wobbles in pitch, and the B drops out in volume as you bend..
i put Dimarzio 54 pro and Heavy Blues 2 on, MUCH BETTER!
Jayden did them for me btw

Ooo...you cannot imagine the amount of shit I had to go thru to get this Strat...and the amount of time and money it took...and it is only about 60 -70 % original I am still hunting for 72 Parts to replace the RI parts...It is FAR from a shredders dream, I have been working on it since Jun/July last year...

By the way I am not modding it, I will try to get it as close to original as possible, but I am scalloping the neck and thinking of making the bridge more playable...see at the moment the high E is off the FB and the low E is hardly on...it’s not looking good...need to fix it
If you do want one check eBay regularly and you must be patient and have at least a few Gs to afford it...

The paint has this sweet smell that gives me a boner!

Sorry

I had to pussy out...the bridge is being naughty, so until I sort out the bridge I cannot proceed...

if I had the patience, I'd scallop all my guitars. I even scalloped my SG. I don't know why but it feels very good under my fingers. how about you guys?
