Post Finally have a keyboard again, recording included
I've only been "playing" guitar for about a year and half but I've had a piano around basically my whole life growing up. I never had any formal training or lessons but I learned to play well by ear but unfortunately never learned any of the theory.

Anyway, moved out 5 years ago and I kinda missed having one around so I bought one and I'm enjoying having it around again. Hopefully it will help me be a better guitar player.

Might not be your cup of tea but here's something unfinished I cobbled together earlier this afternoon with it http://www.fifth-harmonic.com:8080/stuf ... -pixel.mp3

Thanks! I'll try to post some more stuff here.

Just using a damper pedal. Since I started playing guitar I put a lot more thought and effort into the timbre of synths I come up with. The lead synth in that clip goes through a lot of processing (and actually goes through a guitar amp!) to get that sound.

Here's two examples of my old stuff from about 6 to 7 years ago. I have literally hundreds of little tunes like these ones, some of them unfinished from my earlier music days.
