I must say , Great sounding/feeling guitar straight out of the Box!
Just had to Abuse the Trem a little for about 2 minutes , but after that the guitar sold itself
I don't want to Advertise here , but The store I work for Sells them at a fair price I guess......

Nice guitar yes, but this thread is really about PGMs.
Every now and then we chat about something Paul plays (eg V or Explorer), but I don't see Paul rockin' the Prestige puzzle.

There was a PGM100RE on Ebay a little while back that was in CANADA of all places and it sold for $1199. I can't believe I pussed out of bidding on it ;(. It's all my girlfriend's fault, she said thought the blue + pink was just too ugly.

Here is a used/unplayed PGM 100 RE being sold on eBay for $1500:
http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Ibanez-PGM100RE ... 0362939526
and a bonus guitar, the Artist! (unfortunately it has a hidden reserve, but it was staced in with the $1500-1750's, so probably about that) :
http://cgi.ebay.com/Ibanez-2630-archtop ... 0446396882
I recognized the model number, clicked the description to get the year...
"Excellent condition Ibanez 2630 rare archtop. Like Paul Gilbert's."
That's good enough. I guess (based on the desc.) it is from '78 or '79. If you can get the serial # you could ask on Ibanez Collector's World.
If anyone here has an eBay account I'd like to ask one of you to ferry a question to the seller of the Artist.
I do not know the sellers, and I am not the seller of any guitars... caveat emptor.
For those of you who are not in the USA but want an instrument from here... I have a list of forwarding shippers (legit companies) in the USA that you can check out, to see if they will meet your needs, to ship to you out of the USA.

I think it is too much since it is quite a crappy pgm and knowing the 301 went from 700. For 350 I would buy it just for the sake of my collection.

PGM30JB
Same seller as the 300 above but in much better condition!
Some pink Dimarzios would get this llooking and sounding sexy!
Pretty extensive photo's as well.

I'd consider it if it wasn't for the location, shipping price and scalloped neck.

US$ 1,30 is a pretty good deal for a guitar. haha
Even with the shipping, this shouldn't go over 400.

Here's a bunch of stuff from eBay.
Most of these are USA-only sales, but you can try!
The PGM 100RE for $1500 has been relisted:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0373361945
Here is another PGM 100RE which I swear I've seen before:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ibanez-pgm100re-in- ... 0361661850
Here is a brand-new PGM 401 in the UK:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IBANEZ-PGM401-PGM ... 0364433336
and now for the bonuses... this is the Week Of Rare Ibanez's.
'79 Artist 2619 (not the same as Paul's, but same year):
http://cgi.ebay.com/SUPER-AWESOME-1979- ... 0451457634
A black and white striped Destroyer, kinda like Grant's old one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-VINTAGE-80s-IB ... 0511587047
'79 Ibanez Studio ST200 (not the same as Paul's, but the same year):
http://cgi.ebay.com/1979-IBANEZ-STUDIO- ... 0496931817
A Rocket Roll like Paul's... 1976. It needs the pearls and ribbons.
http://cgi.ebay.com/1976-IBANEZ-FLYING- ... 0362816804
A Telecaster copy by Ibanez, called the Challenger (very rare):
http://cgi.ebay.com/Ibanez-Challenger-5 ... 0535464206
A lawsuit era Gibson LP copy by Ibanez (model # is 2380):
http://cgi.ebay.com/Superb-Vintage-Iban ... 0352847328
Destroyer II (doesn't look like it has a flame top but it might.)
http://cgi.ebay.com/Ibanez-Destroyer-II ... 0535472154
This one is more contemporary and might not be rare, but you get 13 strings. Think of all the nonstandard tunings you could use!
http://cgi.ebay.com/Rare-Ibanez-7-strin ... 0490607163
I do not know the sellers, and I am not the seller of any guitars... caveat emptor.

Just a word of caution for other buyers out there, avoid wasting your time on Ebay if you encounter the seller "lacriaturaagresiva".
He had a PGM100RE up that I was bidding on and I messaged him and asked him how much the shipping was to Canada at my postal code. He told me, but also said he wouldn't sell the guitar even if I won the auction if it wasn't bid up to a specific price (which is a violation of Ebay policy, as he didn't actually set any reserve price on the auction).
I waited and a few hours later a 1 star Ebay account placed a bid for the exact specific amount he mentioned on his auction, which means there is a 99% chance it was a shill bid (which is very VERY much a violation of Ebay's policies, enough for them to cancel your seller account).
TLDR; avoid this asshat.
