Post NGD! - Minty green and pink PGM awesomeness!
Wooooooooo!

Ibanez PGM200, one of the 2 "goddammit, I have to have one!" models of PGM along with the 800, is now my 10th PGM! Millions and millions of thanks go to Sean Baker (from right here at the PGM subforums) for selling this fantastic guitar to me.

Strings changed and tuned, few adjustments and BOOM! This 200 plays like BUTTAH and I know Sean played the hell out of it so for a 19 year old guitars, it plays fantastic. Very, very happy am I.

Tsk, macek, no case queens for me. What good is a guitar just sitting in a case? Let the guitars out of their cases. LET THEM BREATHE! :) A guitar is a living thing and is only at it's best when allowed to sing out and make some noise. I always switch my guitars around (unless I have studio work and I usually grab my old RG3120 for that).

Congrats. 200's are cool guitars.

If you don't mind sharing whats the last 3 digits of the serial number. Mine is 074. A few years ago there was a forum member that owned 056, and 076. The one with the lower serial number had pink pickup rings. The other one was like mine and yours with black rings.

I made LOVE to that guitar many times! I'm glad you enjoy your new fiddle. You're right, the guitar plays great! Tell her I miss her every now and then if you would......

********** UPDATE!!!! ***********

This guitar RULES! Nary even goes out of tune.

So the studio I do work for back in NYC is getting the booklet info for perspective clients prepared for the new year and they like to have photos of the studio cats. Even tho I'm not local there anymore, I've been there near 20 years and I'm still doing work for them, albeit at home and not in the studio. So's the studio manager says to me "Send a pic for the booklet......<pauses>......and make it a NORMAL guitar, none of your wacky ones, ya fruitcake!" "Oh sure, Don, I'll take a pic with my new <whispers> PGM200" "<yelling> YOU BOUGHT A PGM200, YOU CRAZY BASTARD??? DON'T YOU DARE TAKE A PICTURE WITH THAT WACKY COLOR GUITAR!!".

So I took a picture with that guitar and sent it in. :)

Five minutes later I sent one with the PGM401 and all was well.

Imagine...people being scared of a straight outta 1990 glowing neon shred machine. :D
