The rarity of it has come into question before. After all, this one has dots and PGM90th's have, obviously, no dots. The guy who supposedly sold it to Rich @ Ibanez Rules said PG had 2 models made special, one with center dots and one with offset dots and the offset dots one had been seen in videos but not this one.

I've definately seen the one with offset dots. It was either in a picture or on a poster. I forget if it there was a post about it here, or on the old PGMsite boards. I think I remember seeing one with dots, but that might have just been yours.

Paul's had all kinds of prototypes made over the years. Its not unreasonable to think that Paul had a few different versions made.

I hope you don't mind me asking Jack, what do you do? Are you in the music business?

I think the volume knob does the switching. Its either a push pull pot, or a push push switch.

Indeed. It is push-push.

I am. I'm a studio musician tho since I moved to Virginia a few months ago, had to set up a studio in my home except for those occasions (like this past weekend) when they fly me up for work.

No, I check the Guitar Center used page from time to time (How I got my PGM900) and there it was, A Caparison Horus in BROOKLYN! Brooklyn is a mere few miles from NYC so I hopped over, bought it and went off to the airport. :)

Gotta love jealousy! :)

What is probably nice about your stuff, Mr. Secret, is that since as a professional studio musician, you can probably write most of these guitar and gear purchases down or off as business expenses for tax and insurance purposes.

There's another school of thought on this which governs the behavior of some rich folks: "flaunt it if you've got it."

I'd love to see some more guitar flaunting around here. hehe. ;)

I am by NO means rich or wealthy! I had a nice bonus from work and I went on the buying spree for the Fireman and 2 JCustoms. My collection comes from 25 years of collecting and buying and have sold many non Ibanez to get my collection where it is today.
