Post Pantera
To the best of my knowledge, the 4 albums Pantera recorded in the 80's are out of print, and have probably been out of print for over 20 years.

I've seen websites where you can PAY to download Projects In The Jungle, I Am The Night, and Power Metal.

To me, there is just something wrong with PAYING to download something that's been out of print for over 20 years.

Anyone know of any sites where these albums can be downloaded for free?

I did download Metal Magic for free a while back.

I think it would be illegal to download them for free.

It is illegal to download them for free, that is for sure.

You can download them in any p2p program, or make a research in some special websites that will let you d/l the records for free, but it is, for sure, not legal.

Oh, and I´ve seen them in vinyl on Ebay, in case you want them "really bad".

Ive got them, I think it was probably off the Piratebay.

Not sure about it being totally illegal if they are out of print and not being sold by the publishers. Isnt there a thing with old computer games being essentially public domain as noone could buy a copy even if they wanted to?

Certainly Pantera or any of their management/publishers/distributors wouldnt make a cent if you bought every single copy in the world...

Obviously not condoning or encouraging piracy; just a thought...

Update:

I now have all 4 80's Pantera albums on CD-R.

I guess I could hear syrens blaring any moment...

I just hope they don't give me the chair...
