YES +1.

I'd prefer HSH rather than HHH as well, but hey, Peter Frampton and Ace Frehley are cool too.

The 2003 PGM30 also has the Prestige PGM neck, not a Wizard II. See here: http://www.ibanez.co.jp/anniversary/exp ... =263&now=7

That info isn't entirely correct. The PGM30 has always had the Wizard II neck. While the '03's did get the Prestige treatment (better fretwork) they are still Wizard II dimensions. 8) --Jason

 I had a look, and I guess you're right. 2mm thicker than a Wizard neck would indeed be Wizard II dimensions, whereas the PGM neck is only 1mm thicker. Oh well, they did a pretty nice job on it anyway. Thanks for clearing that up for me. :)

No problem. Just blame Ibanez for all the incorrect information. I do! --Jason

Yes the 301 is discontinued for 2009.

The models for 2009 are the 401, fireman, 100RE, and the reissue to be announced in April.

So is the 301 discontinued indefinitly, or is it just for 09? I have a 2009 PGM301...but I ordered it in 2008 solo I guess that explains it.

Discontinued means the product will no longer be made unless they decide to reissue it at some date so for all intents and purposes, the 301 will never be made again.

at Ibanez.com, they let us vote for our favorite PGM model (among 9 models). "The model with the most votes will be put back into production"
The PGM301 is in the selection, but I guess some other models will have more success...
But, who knows, maybe in a couple of years the PGM301 will be back ;)

The 300 was discontinued a few years ago. Used prices will vary depending on the condition. Probably between $500 and $1000.

The 401 has a list price around $2600. Street price is around $2000.

All prices are in US dollars in other countries prices may be higher.

When is the 401 due out? I also see the major online music stores selling the 100RE, I thought this was a limited run.

Keep in mind a lot of Online Music stores sell product they don't necessarily have, and they just ship it the moment they get it.

I was told by my stores Ibanez rep to expect the 401 and other new models in june.

Ibanez is has always been suuuuuuuper slow at getting stuff shipped to retailers.
