Ditto. Jealousy is a ugly emotion. I bet half of you were playing "Twinkle, Twinkle, little star" at eleven years old. Let's see a video of YOU playing those tunes.

+1

If he develops some compositional skills, he will be a guitar god in the not too far away future.

Firstly, he isnt string skipping. And secondly he figured the song out by ear. He didnt know paul used 3 strings. He thought paul did it the same way he is. And its not down as well as paul because his way is just a little bit harder. But its not sloppy, having seen him play it in person.

Actually judging from the way he's played GOMY and Let The Computer Decide, I'd say he's studied the Japanese tab books very closely and learned from them note for note. I have the GOMY tab book and I think I remember seeing scans for Let The Computer Decide online in the past. Not trying to take away from him, just sayin.

But seriously I'm jealous as fuck, I really wish I could like take lessons from him or something. I would do anything to play as well as him.

Wow, he suprises me again. His tone is a little brittle (no beefiness), but he's still hella good.

I wonder if he can do any fusion?

I'm dying to hear something original from that kid, but until that day comes, I'll just enjoy hearing him play what he plays now.

(I can't watch it for too long though, it's just a tad bit depressing. )

I don't think anyone comes out of the gate playing their own stuff with their own style. You gotta learn something somewhere.

On a bit unrelated topic; I know a couple of people who started really young and are just plain bad at writing original stuff, I think its because they are so used to copying other people. Just a thought.

And I always feel like crap after watching this guys videos.
