Very nice.

Pure guitar madness, just what I was looking for.

I wonder what the original (not watermarked or YouTube/flash compressed) footage looks like. Probably quite splendid. :)

... The HD (HQ) is only 18.4 megs. Not too long of a download.

Thank you for sharing that!

Can't wait to see Scarified & Technical Difficulties, when you get home.

You'll never see it without the watermark....but click the WATCH IN HD link, and it's almost the same as the source.

I don't need to see it without the watermark; it's too blurry and red-over-saturated to begin with, to do video capture or anything else with even if I had that sort of idea (which I didn't) -- it is to be enjoyed as a web-only sensation.
... That is perfect.
And it is being ENJOYED, I can assure you. Paul's guitar work is "second to none" and "the top of it's class".
It is perfect for a crazy night here, like tonight.

First time played live in 20 years?! Boy did he do a nice job! It sounded like 1988 all over again.
... One thing I really like is how he doesn't change from the happy, swaying, emotive, "feels it with his whole body" guitar player (solo band) to some angry, scowling, hyperspeed shred-type when he starts up the Racer X material. He's still just Paul, same ol' goodness, doing the same onstage rockin' out, no matter the set, song. or band.

What's the effect on the guitar - lots of echo / delay / chorus? The same effect was on the vocals. Seems to give things a little more depth and a vintage feel.

It has been blogged to the review. :)

I'm uploading a 1080p version now. I won't delete the current version, until the other finishes.

The red color...that was what the show colors were.....what you see, is what it was.

Secondly, if it's blurry....YOU AIN'T WATCHING IT IN HD. Period....or your screen is a 640x480 or some low resolution. The source on YouTube right now is 720p (it was recorded 1080p), so it's 1280 x 720. However, I'm uploading 1440 x 1080.

So if your monitor is displaying 640x480...or 800x600...then you're not going see what the source was shot or uploaded at.

EDIT: removing a dead link.

yeh, yeh... sounds about right. The source files are always enormous. They take like hours to load in to YT's system.
Then YT crunches them down to nothingness.
The original of Bliss and the YT version are like night and day. YT version looks all jpg'd out and blurred; the original has soft, hazy light but it's pretty crisp.

Room acoustics I'd say.
