Post ENGL Thunder 50
Hey guys,

I've got an ENGL Thunder 50 reverb combo. It was second hand and got it for a great price £350. Was wondering though, I know it's 50 watts, but in a live setting it doesn't really match up to other amps volume wise and is certainly drowned out by the drums! By comparision, I have a Marshall AVT 150 lying bout the house, as well as a Laney TF120, and a fender tonemaster. Obviously the Fender is a loud beast, but even the Laney and Marshall are louder than this amp!!!

Any thoughts on if this is a normal problem or what? The tone of the amp is impeccable, just the volume giving me issues. Also, when it's cranked at halfway on the master I hear a little jingling is that the tubes?

Thanks
Dave
