Hey guys, I have a question about an unknown PGM model to me. I saw it on the Ibanez forum official PGM thread and haven't seen it anywhere else.

It is a blue body with white f-holes, maple neck, black hardware, reverse headstock, and white logo on the headstock. Anyone have any idea which model it is?

I have a feeling that these belong to someone on this site too hahah

It is the one in the middle row, far left

It is owned by the board member EKG.

Its not an official PGM model. If you look closely you will see that the controls are not hidden in the f-hole. It is some kind of RG with f-holes on it.

Last night I saw Paul Gilbert live here in Portugal and besides that ugly reverse iceman he played a PGM in sunburst that had the reference 401 something in the case, It was a J Custom case. The guitar was similar to a PGM10th, but in sunburst. Does anyone know what model is it? Is it a regular model than can be bought on stores?

Besides that, I got my PGM10th signed an blessed my the master himself :D

It is a custom guitar that was made for Paul. As of right now it is not available for purchase. It could be offered in the future, but from what I am hearing its not likely to be offered next year.

I think the burst is too dark with the straight black F holes. Maybe more of a tea burst or maybe the F holes need a creme pinstripe.

I think a lighter burst would look better too. I also think that direct mount, black and creme zebra pickups would look better. Man, I hate pickup rings. --Jason

Me too... when I hear "pickup rings" I'm always imaging the Ibanez PGM30 guitar, dunno why  But the one that Paul has on the back of the booklet in SFBADR album (white + golden h-h-h) looks pretty tasty  ImageThis one

I've updated some information on the first page. There are now pictures that show the two variations in PGM500 necks. Special thanks goes to xjustice09x for the pictures of his PGM500 with the one piece neck. 8)

Yes, ti is that one. Now I know it is a production model. But it should be cheaper.
