 RACER X - NAMM Concert
I am happy to bring you some good news:
RACER X - LIVE!
Here are the details:
This coming January, Ibanez guitars is celebrating the 20th anniversary of my PGM guitar with a concert at the NAMM show.
Andy Timmons and his band will open the show, followed by a set from my solo band, followed by...
RACER X!!!
The venue is the Sheraton Park Ballroom. Tickets will not be sold to the general public, but must be obtained through Ibanez guitars.
It is very exciting for me to be the featured artist for Ibanez this year, so I am glad that I can do something special for this concert. I can't think of anything better than a killer set of RACER X!
The RACER X line-up will be Jeff Martin, Juan Alderete, Scott Travis, and myself.
I can't wait to play some killer heavy metal with my favorite metal band!
Thank you,
Paul

GOOD NEWS PAUL!
I'm glad to hear that from you! Juan and Scott told me some stuff as well when I met them some weeks ago... sad thing tickets can't be purchased by general public, as I'd fly there to see it!
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know why I'm specially happy? Because you are really growing lately, I mean... the name PAUL GILBERT is starting to be heard more than before... new Signature Models, Pedals and Cd's... VIP lessons sold out all over Europe... I'm really happy for you Paul

NICE!
It's a shame they won't sell the tickets to the general public, though:\. Well then, maybe you can compensate it with a tour?
Anyways, i hope to see some footage of this!

dino, I'm guessing you were 100% kidding but if not, what about that whole "Tickets will not be sold to the general public, but must be obtained through Ibanez guitars." I don't mean to sound like a jerk but c'mon, that is gonna be one hell of a hard ticket to get
regardlessssssss...AWESOME NEWS!!!!!!!!! Whats more metal than Racer-X with a (potentially) S-S-S reverse Iceman??? Hope to see some sick footy from this event for sure.

Yeah, considering that Ibanez has no "contact us" on their website, plus their entire e-store and user forum is down, plus their media section is devoted to stuff for end users (it's not for the media), they don't have a webmaster copyright contact, and even trying to connect with them through the support index brings up nothing...
(wtf?!)
It might be a wee bit hard to get information.
*sigh*

wow I've obviously (and unintentionally) stepped on your toes. I have heard that most NAMM events are hard to get into and assumed this would be the same way.
If its in the Park Ballroom, that place apparently holds 700 people in a theater setting. SEE HERE. So I guess I apologize for being a thick skulled moron and assuming this, like most NAMM events, would be somewhat of a hard ticket to come by.

Everyone who nagged at Paul had better get their asses to the show.
I'm not sure if you're Paul's personal spam filter, his bodyguard, or what. But I would really love to be able to attend a Racer X concert and NAMM is not an easy show to get to. I hope someone films the event. And a new album would be awesome. That's just coming from a loyal Racer X fan.
