don't get me wrong everyone, RX is still my favorite band, and the tunes are still my favorite (even the old ones... or especially the old ones I'm not sure). I just can't love everything about R X, and the old guitar tones are one of those things I don't really love. However, with the return of RX in 2000 with TD, the guitars have become cool 8)

I'm about 95% sure I was at that show. It was at the Troubadour.
Do you know what Bruce's absentee story was?

As best I can recall, I think he was sick.

I agree with Ken. The guitars sounded LOUD (and Clear, I couldn't resist) Those guitars sounded killer, as they do on Extreme Volume. It's only when they were turned way up that there were issues, and even those could be blamed on the modified marshalls that went beyond "11"! By the way, those guitars "played" great too, as I played Bruce's green and orange one back in the day at his pad. 8)
