I can play Iron maiden's "The Trooper" perfectly on a real guitar... and I tried GH and miserably failed in Easy mode.

My conclusion: Learn the real thing.

yeah i found most of the songs on guitarhero games to be easier to play on the real guitar than play it on guitarhero.

It's no consolation that most of these songs only span about 5 frets on the "guitar". :x

Guitar Hero is too hard for me. My girlfriend is better at it than me which is EMBARRASSING.

Yep I remember a year or so ago when they showed an online video demo of this new technology. Of course it wasn't packaged yet and it didn't have the Guitar Hero name associated with it.

So I guess they are now ready to roll it out :roll:

I think it's a pretty cool way to introduce people to guitar music, that would normally not come by it otherwise. When the fad actually goes away, there might be some people who actually pick up a guitar, and although we all know most people won't stick to it, some probably would, and if they actually turn out to be good guitarists and making good music, there's nothing to argue about.
