Wow, I just listened to this the other day and it still amazes me lol. I wonder if there are any vids of Paul playing in his RX days?

He plays snipits and references to it in some videos, but never the full thing as far as i know.

To me, Frenzy, is like "Eruption" version 2.0! I mean, technically it's on another level from what Eddie did... (not dissing evh, just stating opinion)
Not only does it totally rip, but even being a solo piece it still has melodic weight IMO... It just leaves me in awe to think that Paul composed most of the licks in this track while he was in his late teens.... Downright genius!

this was the first song I heared from Racer X.
Even though I think it´s not close to one of the best tunes, I have some "emotional feeling" attached to it

I've figure out a lot of it,
most of the school of shred is frenzy licks and stuff,
even the complex tapping patterns are in there, proving there is logic behind them

The tappin in it is just amazing, it pretty much is Eruption except it's way more scary lol

i find synching my finger to that pattern near imposible
give me some bumblefot tapping before the gilbert pattern anyday
