I've never seen an Electro Harmonix Poly Flange...I've seen a Poly Chorus but not a Flange.

Anybody know anything about it?

If you are referring to his 750 with dino stickers here is the answer Paul gave CWR in an email

"The middle and neck pickups are Ibanez pickups. I did
a short instructional DVD for their "Jumpstart" guitar
package, so I played the Jumpstart guitar on the DVD.
Even though it`s an inexpensive guitar, I loved the
pickups! So I had them put a couple in my RG750. The
humbucker in the bridge position is a DiMarzio Tone
Zone. "

You are right, I just noticed it as well. He must like the single coil tone he was getting from the Dinosaur RG referenced above. I must agree it sounded good at the LA show, and on the Guitar Wars DVD. Ibanez probably made it special for him for the tour.

Paul is going deep into his Hendrix phase. When he switches out the bridge humbucker for a single coil, he'll have nearly competed it. :)

I think I may have figured that one out...

In Hurry Up there is a section where the main theme goes all quiet and the Electric Mistress does make a lot of "Swoosh" noise so maybe with the equalizer placed after the flanger it means he can keep the flanger on and coax a clean tone from the Laney.... Otherwise the guitar might get completely swamped by the flangers "swoosh" noise.

He might use it for the intro to Radiator as well.... But I'm just guessing, I can't say for certain.

When has PG ever not sounded good?

Com'on folks. Don't get so wrapped up in what he uses for gear. His sound is in his fingers.

Paul is using the core one bullet cable.

According to core one. They contacted Paul about it. He says he endorses dimarzio but he will keep buying bullet cables because they sound great.
