No problem, it seems to be the problem everywhere. If you want bandwidth, it's $$$$$

I've uploaded the first part of the video of Paul jamming to Megaupload
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=92G6WAQZ
Part 2 is here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=N186GEQM
The try to get you to download their (spyware) downloader software, but I think if you just type in the numbers/letters in the upper right you can download it. The upload speeds I get are pretty bad, but I'll try to get the 2nd part up soon.
I hear there are some sort of limit to downloads by country for Megaupload, so if you get these messages, google for the work around. There seems to be all kinds of ways to fool their site into getting out of their queue.

One of the 1986 shows from the Roxy has been uploaded. I assume this is the show that I've seen referenced here. I've also included some rehearsal footage (in a dark, dark, room) and backstage pre show stuff.
FileFront seems as unstable as the rest of the free file hosting sites, so you guys are probably having as much difficulty downloading as I am uploading (it never works on the first try). Again, if anyone comes across something better than allows unlimited bandwidth and GB hosting let me know. I'm certainly not partial to any particular site.
Duuuuuuuuuuuuude!!!!!!!
This isn't the show that most people here have, it's a different camera completely!!!!!! What a suprise that turned out to me. I've never even heard of this before. We're so lucky to have you here. <3
And that pre-show footage is cool too. Stuff like this fkin rawks.

Is it the same show? I think there were at least 2 shows back to back at the Roxy. I think a few people were filming so it doesn't surprise me that there are a few versions. Everything I've seen that's pre 1987 is camcorder though I think - and those VHS tapes just don't age well. I remember them being less shadowy then they are now. 20 years are not kind.
Anyone every seen any of the bits that made it on TV around L.A.? I think Hammer Away was on TV and possibly a couple of other songs. A lot of other stuff was cam corder or the house camers - which weren't much better.

Yeah it's the same show, just a different guy filming it. The one you uploaded seemed to be from a balcony and the one most people here have is right up in front of Jeff the whole time. You could probably see the contents of his nose if you wanted.
I have Hammer Away live on the LA Cable Show in 1988 and as you said, it's bad quality.
I *think* it's the same Roxy show anyway. I have a copy here that says 9/5/86 but on that camcorder, it says 9/8/86 so maybe it is 2 different ones. I haven't watched the actual performance so I can't compare just yet.

It might be different shows, especially with those dates. I've seen a few from Bruce's early stages in the band when he played that Charvel.

You can check out some vids from the other cam here if you wanna compare:
YRO
Street Lethal
EDIT: I just realised it is actually a different show. Paul's solo spots are different.
I think the show I have is the 6th of September because Jeff says that Scott just started his birthday 10 mins ago and they also play Happy Birthday for John.

Yes, I've got that show on their birthdays too. I think there is one more from about the same time at the Roxy also - at least that I've seen before.

Is there a second half to this show? The file stops in the middle of Scott's drum solo?

Did it cut off your download? It told me that it uploaded the whole thing, and the file size looks correct. Should be more.

Never mind, I see there is an issue with this one too. It's cut off the video. I'm not sure if it's my DVD recorder or the DVD to avi ripping software that's cutting things. I'll have to start checking them. I will try to get this re-ripped as soon as possible.
