ooo he also has 2 a/da flangers look!

flangers are cool, i got a DOD one for xmas but it sucks :( too subtle

im gunna get a better one, hopefully an a/da one, but the chances of one of them popping up on Ebay UK? pretty slim :(

Anything that's good enough to have one of is worth having too of. Heck, I've got (3) MP-1s now and two of them are the modified 3TM versions. I'll probably get another stock one too because they're sure as heck not going to get cheaper anytime soon.

Fair enough, thanks for the answer Muttley.

Did Paul and/or Bruce ever sell off parts of their rack? Obviously I know Paul switched pretty much everything, guitars/pickups/hair/picks/amps etc but what did he do with all the RX gear?

well i think he was still using the rack gear on Mr Bigs first album right?

and after that i think he would be making enough money to not need to sell all of his rack gear, im guessing he still has it somewhere.

unlike Reb Beach who had to sell his guitars

Isn't an AMPEG SVT a bass amp though? Or is there an AMPEG SVT guitar amp and bass amp?

How important is the hush? Would it really be that loud if I were to run an Mp-1 into a poweramp of some sort?

(I apologize for my total n00bness in the amp/effects area )

Basically Soupy,

The Furman is a power conditioner which stops interference and hum.

The Wireless system is a wireless system  no guitar cables needed.

The Alesis Midiverb II is an effects processor with Reverb, chorus flange and delay.

The Quadraverb is another effects processor.

The Akai PEQ-6 is a midi accessible programmable parametric equalizer.

The Eventide H3000 Ultra-Harmonizer is a guitar harmonizer.

The ADA MP1 is a guitar preamp controlled with a midi footswitch called the ADA MC1.

Incase you don't know what a preamp is -

A preamp is the first half of an amp. With a normal head configuration, it's the part you plug your guitar into, and it's where the tone controls are.

The Rockman midi octopuss is a midi switcher.

The Rocktron HUSH IICX is a Guitar Noise Reduction Rack effect.

Finally, the Ampeg SVT 2 Pro poweramp.

The power amp is the second half of an amp, where the signal created by the preamp is sent to be amplified. It's this section that drives the speakers, and controls how loud you can go.

Hope this helps!

MDuCran - That's not an Ampeg STV amplifier, it's an Ampeg SVT 2 Pro poweramp.

Ampeg used to make guitar amplifier but now they only make bass amplifiers I think!

Lamer - You may have to update the poweramp bit and the Alesis Midiverb II if I missed that.

Paul
