I'm no amp expert but I thought you weren't supposed to run gain effects through the effects loop.
Maybe i'm wrong though.

Cool,my mistake.
I took my amp to practise cranked it to about 6 on the master and about 7 on both the gain the drive.
It was plenty of gain but I wasn't blown away by it,it was very fuzzy kind of sounding,I'll try and post clips tomorow.
Could that be the tubes?(they are the stock tubes)
Also what tubes would anybody recommed for the GH100?

Groove Tubes are good and Mesa's are good as well. I never put any Distortion Pedals through the GH, its full of Distortion already, just learn your EQ better

Wow,all the friendly advice thanks guys.
I'm gonna tweak the shit out of it today and record some stuff and then post it later.
Also sinced it can biased for EL34 or 5881's,what would be the differences?

I recommend JJ/Tesla high gain graded at 110mu/side which you can get at eurotubes.

Sovtek tubes are the Russian Tubes that Mesa use. Very good.
As for the Amps. Go for the LC. Just go for it Rooster. You wont be disapointed

EL34s are a Vintage sounding Valve. British Rock, Crunch Sound is made by EL34s, they are more Tame. 6L6s are the Full on American Distortion, think Mesa
