Hey, if any of you are interested, Paul made a cover of Elton John's Bennie and Jets song. The mix was really dry (no reverb), which to my ears was disappointing, especially since Elton's version is so spacious. So I decided to doctor it. I used CoolEdit to add some reverb (not studio quality, but all right). I also edited a chord onto the beginning of the song to make it more true to Elton's version. If anyone wants to hear it, go for it.

Paul actually used to have some rare recordings posted on his web site. I have them somewhere (I think). One is a song from one of his earlier solo albums, but the lyrics are in Spanish. Another is a cover of Cheap Trick's "Oh Carolina."

Damn! If you've still got those tracks Sandman then I'd really appreciate a copy/ a link or whatever. Paul took those off his site about a week before I got a PC!!!

Yeah! I love that version.
"Paul Gilbert Tortures a Hollowbody" almost sounds like its music to some unrated almost porn film you could get at Blockbuster.

I laugh everytime i hear the intro.
