Post Intro to "That Hormone Thing"
You guys know that one part at the very beginning before the song starts, Paul holds this artificial harmonic for a really long time. I know it's probably a stupid question, but it just seems pretty hard to hold one for that long. I know he doesn't use the tremolo bar for it, 'cause he does it a few times in Terrifying Guitar trip. Just wonderin', thanks.

Well,
I guess Paul used a Fernandes Sustainer once again. He used one back during the "Bump Ahead" / TGT-time, I think, so maybe he used it to create that effect

I dunno about you, but I can hold natural harmonics for a very long time.. I have found your amp setup really determines how well and how long your guitar sings..

With my current setup, I can hold SOME notes for days. Especially the ones close to the natural harmonics..

I'm guessing no tricks, I mean listen to Dweller in the Celler by Jason Becker, the intro is all harmonics using the whammy bar..

BUT MAYBE I'M FUCKING WRONG : ) See ya
