ya...i think its really sad that they only have the pgm30 in north america....we should all sign a petition and send it to ibanez telling them to bring in more pgm models here....

I looked into that. It's really simple, actually. PGM's don't sell here. Overseas, Paul is a god and they sell tons of PGM's.

I do believe that all 2003 Edge equipped models will have the Edge Pro I or Edge Pro II, EXCEPT for the Korn K7 models....they dtill have the LoPro 7.

Korn models still have theg lo-pro 7 .

Put the bgm will now have the best ibanez has to offer the edge pro baby. IM pretty sure itd prestige now too so you vatos can exoect to hav ea high quality PGM.

You're right!! The PGM30 is an awesome deal! Comes with Edge Pro I AND the neck is a Prestige. Change out the pups and you have a kick ass guitar for a reasonable price.

In my opinion, it still kind of sucks.

I rather pay the 1200 for the PGM300..

you know? just better guitar overall.

Another thing, the 30 has pup rings whereas the 300 has direct mounted pups...I still think the 30 is a great deal ;-)

I have a Rg 470. It's really easy to play and has agreat neck. But there is some fret buzz (even though strings aren't that low) and the intonation is really bad. I know that it could be solved but that's not the question.

My question is. Are the PGM 30 better or worse than an Rg 470? My guess was that it was better. But I have heard things like it's basically just the same.

My Rg 470 costed about 700 dollars, whereas the PGM would cost about 1400 dollars. If you translate the swedish kronor into dollars. I know you can get the PGM 30 a lot cheaper but it's still a big difference in price.

They used to be the same, bu tnow they are in totally different worlds as the PGM is now a prestige model. Prestige is the best that ibanez has to offer.

Thanks. Well if they were basiclally the same, the price on the PGM 30 should have been a little lower. But it's a signature so it has to be more expensive or what?

I think I payed more for my Rg 470 than most of you would for a Rg 550 or 570... and whats this √úNT thing? What am I missing.
