Post Ibanez JEM 7VWH
What do you guys think of the JEM 7VWH that is on the market now? It appears to probably be one of the best guitars that Ibanez has in America right now! The Alder boby and the Ebony fret board really seems to make it really good? Is Alder a heavier wood than basswood?

I played on an Ibanez RG the other day and it had Evolutions in it. I really liked the sound of the Evolutions!!!!

I just got one not too long ago. I love it. I still have a little trouble keeping it in tune but I guess thats what I get for playing it for over 20 hours last weekend. :D

Sounds like me when I have the time! Time is a hard thing to come buy when I commute 45 minutes to school 4 days a week, and work 30 hours a week in a meat deptment at a grocery store!(half of those hours are during the weekend!) I also give guitar lessons on top of that!

This summer I will have plenty of time to play my ass off! I am going to try to get a band so that I don't have to work weekends at the store!!!! Besides, bands around here make more money than a $6 an hour meat cutter! :)

The 7VWH is an incredible guitar! I get a wide variety of tones out of it. Alder is a bit harder than basswood giving it a brighter sound. Basswood a bit warmer. Weight? Well, I would say Alder is a little heavier, from what I've worked with ;-)
