Post Troy Stetina
Has anyone heard of this amazing guitarist? Check out www.stetina.com

He has some amazing books on metal and shred music! I had a friend once that let me listen to the CD from one of his books and I thought that he had some cool stuff! He did a bunch of classical tunes in one section, and then in another he would do PG style stuff.

Troy is amazing!! I've had 'Speed Mechanics for Lead Guitar' for more than 6 months...its awesome...I broke the cd though...which sucks but oh well...truly...I enjoy his version of the 10th Caprice and the bumblebee...he's a great player. That book helped me soo much.

Pick it up.

Speed Mechanics is an excellent book. Should be required reading for beginning to intermediate players.

Great Book! One of the best technique books I've seen that isn't Pablo or Yuckwie that is.
Check out Challenge The Masters too if you like neo-classical stuff, come with a tape or cd but you will probably have to order it.

Troy Stetina is awesome! Great to hear some people talk about him. I have a couple of his instructional books and love them. He's a great metal guitarist and his solos are always innovated and not overstated.
