This song brings up a rather intersting point to me. Even though your using what appears to be a harmonic minor scale to make it sound middle eastern, it still sounds quite western.

Alot of people dont know this, but 90% of middle eastern, turkish and other persian cultures use quarter toned keys in their play. So if they where to use a Cm scale, the D and A would be tuned up 25cents.

This are notes that most people in the world never hear, are we missing out on something?

My dad is lebanese, so i know about quarter tones ;)..

I played a quarter tone fretted strat while i was over there (up to the ninth fret, then it was normal)

it was hard to play but it worked for it

Go for it

I'd be intrested to hear it:)

Atm im just farking about playing as many different styles as i can, for a kinda "portfolio" of stuff i can do..

I've got a country blues track up as well thats cheesey as hell but i think it sounds quite convincing for a rocker.

reb beach was the guitarist for winger and he played guitar in dokken for a while, and he is an awesome "hired gun" session guitarist...........................btw, keep up the great work.

For 3 1/2 years, that's great! I'd like to hear what you'll sound like 5 years from now.
