If you want that kinda power... the marshall mg100dfx is a pretty damn good amp IMO :)

It's a 1x12 combo... It's got a bunch of digital effects (chorus/dealy, delay, chorus, flange, reverb) which all actually sound pretty good. The delay is a bit lacking (it's quite hard to control) but the reverb and chorus are pretty tastey.

It is LOUD also by the way

I'm not too sure of the pricing (I don't know where you live :P ) but it wouldn't be too hard for ya to check the prices on the net. :)

Good luck :)

when you said you want a good solid combo, did you mean you want a solidstate amp?
if you really have to, get a Line6.
if not, go for a used 5150

I agree with Ibanzer, one of my amps is a 5150 combo and it's been great. My only complaint is that is VERY heavy.

I will agree that the 5150 Combo is the best bet. I have had one since 1997 and have never had any problems with it. Changed tubes about 5 times since I got it. Very reliable!
