Post Terrifying Guitar Trip . Is it really worth 50$?
Yeah, so far the two places ive seen that sell it, let it run about 50 bucks. When I just look at it, only having seen the first few minutes of it, it looks like a rip off to me. I need some input, if its really worth it, of course id buy it (hell,i was considering buying it even if it wasnt, just cause paul teaches :P ) you guys got any words on it?

I'd pay well over 50$ for anything with Gilbert in it.

i definitely think so. in all honesty the first 5 minutes isn't that great. besides the intro, which in itself is pretty cool, being that you see a bunch of semi-rare Gilbert shots, he basically just talks about warming up. later on however, you get a LOT more. Green Tinted intro, Flamengo (PG attempt at classical done AMAZINGLY), harmonic minor lick (from intense rock 1 and extreme volume 1 solo), an awesome full video of a solo from Japan, a full talk about Metal Dog (what we now know as Technical Difficulties), a few studio solos, and a really funny ending with dinosaurs! i think it's definitely worth $50, i would pay $150 if i had to. try to get it on ebay though, you can score there.

Yeah, Isaid this in another one. Maybe I shoul dhave just put the WD40 comment here... But then again maybe not. The video is great, Lol. Lots of useful warmups hes got there. And I love watching it just for the hell of it. Pauls got a great sense of humor, I love it. The ending with the toy lizards was hilarious. Im going to go give Colorado Bulldog and that C# harmonic scale a shot now. Whoooh. The guy was nice enough to make copies of the little booklet that came with it to. ... By the way, if any ofyou guys have scans of Yngwie Malmsteens REH video, his first one, the tab book, contact me via email or aim. i need those!
