improving is kiondof reltative, it depends on what sound your looming for. I would suggest a line 6 pod or something, you can get good tone from on of dep lil buggers. also a good overdrive pedal is always a good thing

Do not buy Line 6! Trust me, its crap. I won't go any further. I own 3 Mp-1's and i love 'em. Always have. Stay away from the ADA Classic though, its junk.

Check Ebay, they have a ton of 'em up all of the time. None of mine are for sale.

I'm shocked that you say that Line 6 is crap. Aren't you endorsed by them? Where's the love? I love my Line 6. I own a POD & an Ax212. Okay, I also own an ADA MP1. But I also own a Peavey half stack. A Supreme or something like that (I got the whole thing for 4 bills, so I couldn't resist).

Post Interesting....
You've got me wondering now as well....

I don't own any Line 6 stuff, but was considering buying a Vetta soon. Your impression of their products interest me, since I know a number of people who own their amps/effects units and give them good reviews, mostly.

If you could elaborate on what you don't like about them, that would be great, as it might clue some of us in to problems we aren't aware of, and potentially save us some cash.

Thanks!

I love the dirty sound of the MP-1! The unit does have one small problem though... It is very noisy.

Technically you cant buy a new one...ADA is outta business...but Yes...I've seen them on Ebay for 50$ even less at times...it all just depends if people see em on there....

Wheres my Love for Line 6! I was endorsed. I let it run up. I was sent the Flextone II Hd and I was floored on how it did a whole bunch of nothing. Paul Crook (Ex-Anthrax) actually helped me to get it to sound semi-good (With running a MXR 6 band EQ through the FX Loop) but I had nothing but evil experiences with it. I guess I have played tube amps too long. A friend of mine had alot of problems with his too. Just voicing my opinion on the Amp. Everybody has there own taste and thats mine. I did try very hard to make the thing work for me but with no luck in the end.

Pod Pro rocks.

the regular pod sucks.

The MP1s sound great with a good poweramp. They don't sound good at all using headphones OR through another amp. This is the real difference, make sure you got a good poweramp.

It's the same thing with the Pod Pro though, the Pod Pro and a Mesa 50/50 are where it's at.

Michael Romeo and Ty Tabor use them live, and got great distortion.

It's all personal preference etc...

Dude you can't go wrong with an MP-1... I've been using the same one for YEARS!!! The only downside is that yes ADA has gone out of business so it is tricky to get them worked on if and when the need arises...X
