Post Saw Eric Johnson with Tony Furtado last night
And man, was it amazing. The gig was over in a place here called The Great Aunt Stella center, which is basically an old church turned music hall. So what do you get with two INCREDIBLE guitarists and an awesome church? That's right, acoustics, baby. 8)

All acoustic set, Tony Furtado (www.tonyfurtado.com) opened for EJ with an incredible bluegrass/slide set, and great singing.

And then of course Eric... Well, we don't need to go there, let's just say all the guitarists that I talked to that night were going home to burn their acoustics after the show. :) And he played piano! Just thought it was cool, was the first pro guitarist I've seen so far (missed G3 :(). This was the second show of the tour he's started, so if they come by your area, I really reccomend you go catch them.

Yea saw them two around a month or two ago, was killer!

Did he play that song he wrote in europe about a statue? name david or something? I cant find that song anywhere! I love that song, and someone said it was on his cd, so I got the one he pointed me out to...and it didnt have it

But venus isles kicks butt (that what its called?), great cd. Listen to it everyday.

Yeah, he played that song. It was about some goddess though. I know it started with a D. It was like Desmirilla or something, can't remember. I didn't know most of the songs he played except for Desert Song and A Song for Life

Same here. Might seem as a bit weak sometimes, but it´s great for his songs.
